Immigration

Today we set off on another adventure. We had to go to the immigration office to get Liahona checked in. We began our day bright and early at the Secret Harbour Marina office to check in there and get information on the best way to navigate our way to the immigration office. We received excellent directions and were able to make our way in about 15 minutes, up and down the steep hills, along with the mosquitos and the crazy drivers on the wrong side of the road. Finally, which seemed like an hour, we got out of the extreme heat and into the air-conditioned office. The officers at the immigration office were extremely helpful. Although we were missing an important document, they were able to locate said document. This saved us from a return trip to the boat and back to the immigration office. In addition, they were able to make an extra copy for our personal records This was the absolute antithesis of "red tape". We found that the immigration office was a "blue tape" establishment. Thank you so much for your hard work. By the way, we were able to enjoy much of the beautiful flora and fauna of this country.

Did I mention that today is Sunday?

Fair winds and following seas,

Miriam
