Anse Mitan is a large, lovely anchorage, with room for hundreds of boats. We motored over from Anse Dufour to the the smaller section of Anse Mitan and tried to drop anchor three times, but it wouldn't grab. After moving to the front of the larger section, we grabbed on the first try. We tidied up quickly and dinghyed into town. The dinghy dock was broken but we were able to use it anyway. Maggie Arrives in Portsmouth - the Friendliest Little Port in the Caribbean

Maggie was due to arrive on Thursday, but came three days early. She had intended to visit the northern area of Dominica before she boarded Liahona. We signed up for the PAYS Yachting Festival. P.A.Y.S. - Portsmouth Association of Yacht Security is a group of small boaters who provide assistance with moorings, customs/immigration, taxis and tours.
